FUNDED TRAINING, SIT30713 CERTIFICATE III HOSPITALITY

Students can now take advantage of the Certificate 3 Guarantee (C3G), a new Queensland Government Initiative which reduces the cost of the course to the student.

  • Implemented from 1 July 2013 for eligible Queenslanders

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

To be eligible to receive government contribution participants must:

  • Be 15 years of age or older
  • Have finished secondary school or no longer at school
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen permanently living in Queensland
  • Employment status does not matter – a participant can be unemployed and seeking work, or be working on a full-time, part-time, self-employed or casual basis
  • Not hold a Certificate level III or higher qualification*

*This includes any equivalent Certificate III or higher level qualification irrespective of whether the qualification is through a university degree, apprenticeship or traineeship pathway. Certificate level III qualification completed while at secondary school does not exclude you from accessing the Certificate III Guarantee.

*CERTIFICATE III GUARANTEE CONCESSIONAL PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

Under the Certificate 3 Guarantee, concessional participants are defined as follows:

  • The participant holds a health care concession card or pensioner concession card; or
  • The participant holds an official form under Commonwealth law confirming that the participant is entitled to concessions under a health care concession card or pensioner concession card; or the participant is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

CERTIFICATE III GUARANTEE ENTITLEMENT

Eligible participants will no longer be eligible for a subsidised training place under the Certificate 3 Guarantee once they complete a Certificate Level III qualification.

Alcohol Intelligence offer short courses within the Hospitality Industry. Our training is affordable and straight forward to get you industry ready

  • Responsible Management of Licensed Venue (RMLV)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Gaming Nominee Training
  • Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)
  • Customer Liaison Officer Training
  • Food Safety Level 1 & 2 Training
  • Coffee Making (Barista)
  • Introduction to Bar Operations

Packages are available for students wishing to undertake training in more than one above mentioned course

OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE

  • Bar/Gaming/Retail Protocol – Ensure lack of staff awareness and staff complacency are not affecting your business
  • Undercover site visits identifying problem points with service areas plus other issues including liquor/gaming compliance, RSA/RSG matters, cash/stock theft, security etc.
  • Students undertaking our Alcohol Intelligence program are encouraged to partake and complete the assessment of SITHFAB009 – Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol and will be issued a Statement of Attainment as part of SIT20213 Certificate II in Hospitality as well as receiving a QLD Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate enabling candidates to work in QLD licensed venues

REFUND POLICY

Student Contributions and Course Fee refunds must be requested in writing 7 days prior to course commencement date. All efforts to reschedule course to a more convenient time will be made to those unable to attend due to this reason. The letter must be signed by the student and where applicable, referring 3rd Party.
Units will be refunded on a unit-by-unit basis for all non-commenced units. Refunds will be processed in the same manor payment was taken and may take up to 7 days after the request has been received.
If an offer of a place is withdrawn, or Alcohol Intelligence is unable to provide the program, the learner is eligible for a full or pro rata refund of tuition fees paid within 7 days.
